Marie Curie Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Université de Pau et des Pays de l’Adour

The Université de Pau et des Pays de l’Adour in France seeks to recruit an Experienced Marie Curie Research Fellow for a period of 2 years. The position, which is is tenable at the Côte Basque University Campus (http://goo.gl/maps/OqJoM), is offered within the framework of the Marie Curie Industry-Academia Partnership Pathways (IAPP) consortium project entitled ‘MAGIC-Monitoring systems to Assess Geotechnical Infrastructure subjected to Climatic hazards’. The network involves three universities and four companies across Europe. The Research Fellow will be in charge of: a) the development and commissioning of a new laboratory facility for testing unsaturated soils, b) the design of a new high-suction tensiometer for measuring soil water ension and c) the development of the relevant methodologies for interpreting water tension measurements, both in the laboratory and in the field.
