The registration to the ALERT Workshop and School 2024 is now open! Please complete the form below carefully.

The workshop will take place from the 30th of September to the 2nd of October, and will be followed by the doctoral school from the 3rd of October to the 5th of October.

For this edition, the on-line passive participation to the doctoral school is proposed, at the same price as the on-site option.

This year, the ALERT Bureau has once again decided to offer one night of accommodation (in a double room only) for all PhD students attending the doctoral school and coming from an ALERT member institution. Furthermore, all retired researchers attending the workshop will also be offered a day of accommodation.

    **The book of the Doctorate School lecture notes is included in the registration fees for all participants attending the School in Aussois.


    The deadline for the payment of the registration fees by bank transfer is ONE WEEK before the Workshop. The transfer has to include the invoice number as well as the full name of the participant!

    • Accomodation & meals are paid at the reception of the Centre Paul Langevin in Aussois. Approximate costs (all included): 107 Euro/day (single), 95 Euro/day (double).
    • The capacity of the Centre is limited - registrations are being proceeded in the sequence. When the Centre is fully booked, the accomodation will automatically be booked in the hotel of Aussois (for the same price).
    • Individuals who fail to honor their registration will be required to pay a fee to the hotel covering the cost of both the room reservation and the food services.

    If you want to change the details of your registration, fill a new form and refer to the invoice number of the registration which is to be corrected. Cancelling the onsite registration must be announced to the Centre/hotel directly (at least one week before arrival!) - otherwise the participant will be charged with a penalty!


    Additional remarks


    • After pressing the button "Register", you will receive an email with the data you provided. This data will be forwarded to the representative of your institution if it is an ALERT member. A new window with the invoice will appear. Please print the invoice for your records!
    • Personal data collected using this form will be recorded by Arthur Fanara (University of Liège, Belgium) on behalf of ALERT Geomaterials. This data will be recorded in a database used to manage registrations and contact participants to give them details about the event, it will not be anonymized. It will be communicated to the sole parties involved in the organization of the event.
    • In accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (UE 2016/679) and the Belgian law of July, 30th 2018 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, you can exercise your rights regarding personal data (access, rectification, erasure, restriction to processing, data portability, objection) by contacting director@alertgeomaterials.eu.
