Postdoctoral Research Positions of Geohazards/ Sedimentology/Geomorphology/Geotechnical Engineering¨C 2019 CALL
The State Key Laboratory of Geohazard Prevention and Geoenvironment Protection (SKLGP), Chengdu University of Technology, Chengdu, Sichuan, China, is seeking several full-time Postdoctoral Research Fellows to join the research group on landslide hazard assessment as well as paleo-seismic and climatic events reconstruction through lacustrine sediment. The posts are fixed-term for 24 months, with possibility of renewal up to three years and recruitment of permanent research staff, starting as soon as possible thereafter. The successful candidates will join an international research group with collaborations with many universities and institutes of UK, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, New Zealand, Japan etc. We are looking for the following research profiles:

The Executive Board of the Association of Instituto Superior Técnico for Research and Development (IST-ID), Lisbon, Portugal, took a decision to open an international selection competition for one doctorate position for the exercise of activities of scientific research in the scientific area (s) of Science and Engineering of Materials, Bioengineering /Biosensors, Physics /Nanotechnology or Civil/Geotechnics/Hydraulics, in the form of an employment contract under an unspecified fixed -term work contract under the “Código do Trabalho” (Labor Code), aiming at work in experimental tests on soil samples (porous media and textured surfaces). Integrated sensors will be used to monitor key parameters related with biocementation mechanisms. Will also contribute to the dissemination of the project. These activities are carried within the project BIOSOIL.

It is a 30 month contract (monthly remuneration of 2128.34 Euros), starting in April 2019. The call ends at 18 March 2019.
