Postdoctoral position in UNSW

The School of Petroleum Engineering (SCOPE) is amongst the top Petroleum Engineering departments around the world with substantial research funding from both government and private sectors. As a part of UNSW’s strategic initiative in unconventional energy and mineral resources, SCOPE is seeking a highly motivated academic researcher in the area of Theoretical and Applied Geomechanics. Applicants with exceptional research record in the very early stages of their academic career (up to 3 years post-PhD) are particularly encouraged to apply. The successful applicant will hold a PhD in the field of in Geomechanics, Theoretical and Applied Mechanics or Applied Mathematics, with demonstrated expertise in all three disciplines.
