A four-year PhD candidate position is available at the Division of Soil and rock mechanics at KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
The PhD project is linked to the development of new technology for underground storage of hydrogen gas, and is part of a larger research project with the aim to investigate and evaluate possible ways to make the future production of steel free from fossil fuels. The research questions will be focused on rock mechanical issues related to the construction of the facility.
