PhD Studentship in Modelling of Rail Track Drainage at University of Nottingham

The Nottingham Transportation Engineering Centre (NTEC) and the Nottingham Centre for Geomechanics (NCG) will be undertaking a large multi-disciplinary EPSRC-funded project related to the assessment of new materials within railway track drainage systems. The project benefits from the direct involvement of industry partners and seeks to make developments which could significantly advance the methods and materials used.

Joint PhD in UNSW and ENPC on fault mechanics

The Universities of UNSW Australia and ENPC France open a joint PhD (cotutelle) position in the area of theoretical and experimental fault mechanics. The call is open until the position is fulfilled and the candidates will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
