The OZC 2023 was held in University of Liège, Belgium, from 28 August to 1 September 2023. It was co-organized by the EURAD WP GAS & WP HITEC project, and focused on:
“Multiphysics and multiscale coupled processes in geomaterials. Focus on thermal effects and gas transfer impact on the behaviour of geomaterials.”
The sessions were the following:
- Basics of thermo-hydro-mechanical processes in geomaterials
(F. Collin, ULiège) - Basics of experimental testing of geomaterials
(Alessio Ferrari, EPFL) - Constitutive modelling of thermo-hydro-mechanical processes in geomaterials
(Jean-Michel Pereira, ENPC) - Development, validation and maintenance of numerical codes – Part 1 – Part 2
(Olaf Kolditz, UFZ) - Advanced multiphysics experimental testing and imaging of geomaterials
(Laura Gonzalez-Blanco (UPC), Jiri Svoboda (CTU), Andrew Wiseall (BGS)) - Advanced multiphysics modelling of geomaterials: multiscale approaches and heterogeneities
(Pierre Bésuelle (UGA), Frédéric Collin (ULiège), Anne-Catherine Dieudonné (TU Delft) – Introduction – Anne-Catherine Dieudonné (TU Delft) – Course ) - In situ THM and gas experiments
(Arnaud Dizier (Euridice), Emiliano Stopelli (TBC), Carlos Plua (ANDRA), Maria Victoria Villar (CIEMAT))
