We are seeking to hire a research professional (research engineer, research assistant professor, post-doctoral fellow, post MSc fellow) with experience and interest in applied/experimental soil behavior and experimental mechanics related to soil erosion, jetting erosion of soils, jet grouting, dredging mechanics, soil modification/ground improvement, soil drilling, fluid fracking of soils. Qualified applicants that lack these specific areas of experience yet have a strong background in experimental soil behavior/mechanics are encouraged to apply. Experience with embedded instrumentation, field testing, soil bed testing, etc., is also desired.

The position is scheduled to begin October 1, and is available for 15 months with possible extension and promotion. See attached pdf for further details.
