The research group at the National University of Singapore (NUS) is seeking two PhD students and two Postdocs in Spring/Fall 2025. The topics are mainly focused on but not limited to the following four topics:

• Micromechanics: Investigation of internal erosion mechanism of granular materials
• Extreme events: Numerical investigation of rainfall-induced landslides
• Coastal Resilience: Experimental and numerical study on solid-fluid interaction
• Digital Tunnels: Digitalization in the operation and maintenance of tunnels
• Successful candidates will engage in interdisciplinary research spanning granular mechanics, multi-scale and coupled multi-physics modelling, computed tomography and cutting-edge explainable AI. More details please visit the attached figure.
