Aussois

For details about Aussois, situated in the French Alps, look at : http://www.aussois.com/

The ALERT annual meeting (Workshop & Doctoral School) takes place in the CNRS “Centre Paul Langevin“. The facility offers a relatively simple accommodation in double rooms (with a single use possible). In most cases two rooms share one bathroom. The accommodation includes three daily meals (full board). Special wishes regarding the food can be negotiated with the staff of the restaurant. There is also a bar offering drinks during the breaks and in the evening.

You can reach the CNRS “Centre Paul Langevin” in Aussois through Modane, a small town close to the Italian /French border in the french Alps. Modane can be reached easily by motorway (Lyon-Torino) or by train (from Paris by a TGV). Aussois is 7 km far from Modane, taxis are available in front of the Modane railway station.
