David Mašín (Charles University, Prague) was so kind again and documented with a few photographs the atmosphere around the ALERT PhD Prize ceremony (winner: Anna Ramon Tarragona from UPC Barcelona) and of the ALERT Special Lecture delivered by Professor Hans Mühlhaus (University of Queensland).

The Bureau of ALERT Geomaterials has decided to fund the ALERT PhD Prize 2015. The participation to the prize is open to all the PhD students coming from institutions belonging to ALERT, that have discussed their PhD thesis before December 31, 2014. The deadline for sending the dossiers is May 31, 2015.

The registration for the ALERT Workshop and School 2014 is closed! The final programme of the ALERT meeting 2014 can be downloaded as pdf. The paper version will be distributed to the participants in Aussois (hints on how to get to Aussois).
The call for the ALERT PhD Prize is still open (until 31 May)! Please note that applications should be submitted by the former PhD students (applicants). The registration for the ALERT Workshop and School 2013 is open now! You can register using the form at https://alertgeomaterials.eu/forms/registration.html . After filling the form and pressing the button “Register”, a window will open with your invoice. Please print it for your records! You will also get an email with the registration data afterwards. In case of the registration of ALERT members, the corresponding representative of the ALERT institution will receive the registration data too.
The deadline for the registration is the September 15th! The accomodation in Aussois will be processed in the order of the registrations (see the hints in the registration form).
