Mini-symposium on ‘Soil-Atmosphere Interaction’ at the 14th IACMAG conference

A mini-symposium on Soil-Atmosphere Interaction will take place at the 14th International Conference of the International Association for Computer Methods and Advances in Geomechanics (14th IACMAG) being held 22-25 September 2014 in Kyoto, Japan.

In spite of soil-atmosphere interaction providing the boundary condition to many surface and near surface geotechnical infrastructure, detailed knowledge and modelling of the processes remain rather poor, and still deserve new research and development. Contributions are invited on wetting/drying, unsaturated transport, soil desiccation, vegetation, freeze/thaw, and on any engineering application influenced by such processes.

Abstract submission is open until 20th November 2013 and is available: http://www.14iacmag.org/?page_id=88
Please select the desired session to be ‘MS03: Soil-atmosphere interaction’.
