On behalf of the Géotechnique Editorial team, we would like to invite you to submit an abstract for the upcoming 2026 Géotechnique Symposium in Print on “Tailings geotechnics, stability and safety”. The deadline for abstract submission is Monday, 3 November 2025.
Selected contributors will be invited to submit a full paper by Monday, 2 February 2026. Accepted papers will be published in a dedicated issue of Géotechnique, and the authors will be invited to present their work at a separate symposium event. Further details can be found at the following link:

Dear Editorial Team,
Would the editorial team consider a late submission to the 2026 Symposium in Print on Tailings Geotechnics? Our paper addresses static liquefaction triggering in tailings dams through hydromechanically coupled critical-state numerical modelling, applied to the B1 dam at Córrego do Feijão. If the issue is closed, I will gladly submit through the regular pipeline — I just wanted to check before doing so, given how closely the work aligns with the Symposium scope.
Many thanks,
