PhD positions at Northwestern University

The geotechnical engineering group of the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at Northwestern University is seeking PhD applicants for new doctoral positions starting in the Fall 2017. Successful candidates should have a master’s degree in civil engineering, geomechanics, applied mechanics or related disciplines and a strong background in continuum mechanics, numerical modelling and geotechnical engineering.
