Junior chairs in Energy & Environment (including Geotechnics & Soil Mechanics)

The Université de Pau et des Pays de l’Adour (France) opens two tenure-track junior chair positions in the framework of a substantial multi-year growth plan (https://e2s-isite.fr/). The two junior chairs are in the broad area of Energy and Environment, which includes Geotechnics and Soil Mechanics. The start-up package to support each junior chair consists in the allocation of two PhD scholarships and reduced teaching duties (1/3 of the regular charge).

The PhD position is part of Klima 2050, a Centre for Research-based Innovation (SFI) financed by the Research Council of Norway and 20 consortium partners, hosted by SINTEF. Klima 2050 aims to reduce the societal risks associated with climate changes and increased precipitation and floodwater exposure within the built environment. ALERT Workshop 2017 – extended deadline

The deadline for the submission of abstracts for the ALERT Geomaterials Workshop 2017 (28th Edition) has been extended up to May 31, 2017!

Please submit your abstracts by email directly to the coordinators using the Workshop abstract form (doc, odt, pdf). Since time for the presentations is limited, only a part of the submitted abstracts can be chosen for the oral presentations. Therefore, we invite you to submit your abstract as soon as possible. The presentation can also be submitted as a poster. The abstracts of the posters will be published in a separate booklet (ISSN registered).
