ALERT Geomaterials Workshop 2015

The ALERT Geomaterials Workshop 2015 will be organized from Monday, 28 September till Wednesday, 30 September in Aussois, France. It will include the following sessions:

Session 1 (Monday, September 28)
From discrete methods to continuum methods: Applications, Problems and Solutions
Coordinators: Y. Dafalias, L. Sibille and E. Andò

Session 2 (Tuesday, September 29)
How should we teach geomechanics?
Coordinators: G. Viggiani and I. Herle
(a half-day exploratory workshop)

Session 3 (Wednesday, September 30)
Fracturing and fractured reservoirs
Coordinators: E. Papamichos, H. Lewis and G. Couples

ALERT Doctoral School on Coupled and multiphysics phenomena will follow the workshop.

Registration for the ALERT Workshop & School 2014 is open!

The registration for the ALERT Workshop and School 2014 is open now! You can register using the form at http://alertgeomaterials.eu/forms/registration.html . After filling the form and pressing the button “Register”, a window will open with your invoice. Please print the window with the invoice for your records! You will also get an email with the registration data afterwards. In case of the registration of ALERT members, the corresponding representative of the ALERT institution will receive the registration data too.

The deadline for the registration is September 15th! The accomodation in Aussois will be processed in the order of the registrations (see the hints in the registration form).

ALERT Workshop 2014 – extended deadline

The deadline for the submission of abstracts for the Sessions 2 and 3 of the ALERT Workshop 2014 (25th Edition) has been extended up to May 31, 2014! Please submit your abstracts by email directly to the coordinators using the Workshop abstract form (doc, odt, pdf). The submission of the abstracts for the Session 1 is closed!
